OLD SLIDE SCANS

LAST PART OF TOUR WAS PLATOON LEADER OF A 4.2 MORTER PLATOON. ALL TRACK MOUNTED JUMBO SIZED MORTARS.
NEEDS A LITTLE HORIZON STRAIGHTENING. MINUTES AFTER THIS SHOT, THE TRAIN HIT A MINE.
TANK PLATOON ON THE BEACHES EAST OF QUANG TRI. THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BEACHES I HAVE EVER SEEN.
MY 4.2 MORTAR PLATOON "STAFF". NOT A BAD APPLE IN THE BUNCH.

  1. These scans look pretty good to me, David. My rule on scanning is to do it at a real high resolution and spend as little time working on them as possible. The colors look right in these, which is always my goal.

Cool shots, too, love the guys on the tank and I secretly wish you'd gotten that train hitting the mine in the second shot (as long as no one got hurt, of course).

Do you like the V500? I'm kinda sorta looking at scanners lately. Can it do 120 film?
